One of the most productive things to do when playing World of Warcraft is raiding. Raiding is one of the most rewarding things you can do in the game as it gives you so many things in exchange of your time. When playing World of Warcraft, there are basically two paths you can take. One path is PvP. PvP, or player versus player, is a basically pitting your character against other playing characters in your server or realm. This can be done independently or in official venues like the Arena or other PvP instances. PvP is a good path to take, but raiding is a more rewarding path.
Raiding is an activity that’s very unique to World of Warcraft. Unlike other MMORPGs (massively multiplayer online role-playing games), World of Warcraft has a great dungeon raiding system. Raiding will give lots of unique gear. These items can only be acquired through raiding and is not sellable in the auction house as they bind on pick up. The best game gear and items can be acquired from raiding. If you want to improve you character even upon reaching the level cap, then the best thing you can do is raid.
Of course, raiding requires you to have a certain level of experience in group fighting and competence. The best gear can be attained only from level cap raids, but you can also do groups raids in lower level dungeons and instances. Raiding would require you to have a group, of course. Low and mid level raid dungeons require five to ten characters for raiding. Harder ones require up to 25 men. Your group has to be well balanced. You basically have to have tanks (those who take the damage), healers and damage inflictors. Basically, in order to have balance, the tank must get all the agro. Healers should constantly heal members with low health, while damage inflictors are in charge of dealing hurt to the enemy.
There are different approaches to different raid bosses. Familiarize yourself with them and adjust your circulation and system. Doing this will ensure a successful group raid.
