World of Warcraft First Aid Guide

No matter what character you are, first aid is always a big concern in WoW. No matter what any player tells you or how good they claim to be, it’s pretty much impossible to avoid taking damage throughout your entire WoW career. Recovering from taking damage in combat is going to be quite tough if you don’t have a good plan in place for first aid. Luckily we got some great tips on helping you implement a great first aid strategy for your group or for yourself.

One thing to keep in mind is you can combine first aid skill with any profession as it is considered a secondary skill. Since you will also be making good use of the first aid skill, in my opinion it’s the best secondary skill you can have. Here’s what you will need to begin.

Before getting started you will have to get your hands on a couple key items. All first aid skills will require you to have bandages and or anti venoms. Finding anti venoms will be a little harder to find and usually require a quest or two, but rudimentary bandages should be quite abundant. There are various different anti venoms available and all will be uniquely suited for different scenarios that you may encounter, keep that in mind.

The good thing about the first aid skill is even level one players can take advantage of it. You may not have items such as bandages that are as effective as you’d hope in the beginning, as you start to progress and level up your skill they will become available to you. You will have to visit a trainer in the beginning, in order to get your apprenticeship. You will have to visit trainers a lot, so don’t get too worried about what to learn, as you will learn more and more as your progress anyways.

At this point purchasing the Expert First Aid Under Wraps item will be your best bet. Head over to Dustwallow Marsh if you are a Horde player to find this item. If you are an Alliance player, you can find it in the Arathi Highlands. Progressing past level 150 will be quite easy once you have acquired this item. At this point, it wont be too long at all before you find yourself flying from 150 right up to 375.

Getting to 300 is a cinch by simply completing the Triage Quest, which will be available to you once you reach level 225. If you are having trouble moving up in the 200’s, make sure you head back to a trainer to bump up your skill level by easily learning advanced bandage wrapping.

Once you begin to progress in skill you will soon have access to anti venoms, with your first one being available around level 80 from your trainer. While prices will vary depend on where you go, they will typically cost you around 50 copper pieces, and 1 silver piece. Strong anti-venoms, however, will not be available to you until around level 130 and will cost around 50 coppers and 2 slivers, again, depending on where your purchase them.
